Panfish Abundant in Presque Isle Bay

Yesterday, my brother and I went to the peninsula to fish for panfish.  We were hoping to get into crappies but didn't.  The fish were not really biting that well but we did manage to catch 8 bluegills, a couple rock bass, and a few perch.  The perch were really tiny except for one.  I caught a nice one around 9 inches.

The weather was overcast and the wind was due west.  I thought the fish should have been biting better but they must have been full.

I had to keep the small bluegills that engulfed the hook and would not live if I put them back in.  I'll clean them and them to the mess.  Good luck fishing!
