Sunday was beautiful with highs in the upper 70's. I spent most of the day sitting on the North Pier fishing. The bite was slow and the round gobies are plentiful. I caught one nice perch in the neighborhood of 10 inches. A fisherman next to me caught 4 nice perch, one of which was a huge 14 inches. The jumbo's are returning but slowly. The next few weeks should be much better fishing.
Steelhead fishing is good in the streams with a fair number of fish in the streams. Right now, water levels are pretty low. After the next rain the fishing will be fantastic. I bet there are large schools of steelies waiting to run up the streams. Good luck fishing!
