Light rains entered the area today and may raise the streams to ideal conditions. As of this morning, the streams were flowing low and clear and many of the steelhead were spooky. It is hard to imagine if any more fish are gathering at the stream mouth's as this years run has been fantastic thus far. Fish are still being caught at stream mouth's indicating that we have not seen the last of this year's run and more fish will be entering the streams when stream levels increase. This weekend should be excellent fishing, however, if we get too much rain today and tomorrow it may be a washout. I will try to provide an update Friday on stream conditions. The forecast is calling for a dry day Friday so stream levels will be decreasing. This weekend's fishing forecast is definitely dependent on the weather. The fish will be there but if we can fish for them is another thing.
